\u2694\ufe0f The Narrow Way: Matthew 7:13\u201323 and the Deception of \u201cEasy\u201d End\u2011Times Teaching<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Foreword<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Before you read this, hear me clearly: this is not written to entertain curiosity or to win an argument. It is written as a warning and a call back to the fear of the Lord. In these last days, many voices promise an \u201ceasy\u201d escape, many teachers speak confidently where Scripture is not clear, and many people follow the crowd without testing what they hear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jesus told us ahead of time that the broad road is crowded, and the narrow way is found by few (Matthew 7:13\u201314). He also warned us to beware of false prophets, and to judge teaching by its fruit (Matthew 7:15\u201320). So, I am asking you to read this message the way a disciple should: with an open Bible, a sober heart, and a willingness to obey whatever the Lord shows you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My aim is simple: to lift up Jesus Christ crucified, to call the Church to repentance and endurance, and to correct end\u2011times teaching that comforts the flesh but does not prepare the soul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do Not Follow the Crowd: Jesus\u2019 Narrow Way Warning (Matthew 7:13\u201323) and the Rapture Timing Debate<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In my message I wrote at midnight this morning (it is now 9:00 PM), I left out some words the Lord gave me. Today, the Holy Spirit is pressing me to write them to you\u2014and to set the theme by Jesus\u2019 warning in Matthew 7:13\u201323.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jesus said, \u201cEnter by the narrow gate.\u201d The broad way is crowded, and it leads to destruction. The narrow way is hard, and few find it. (Matthew 7:13\u201314)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That is why we must be careful when we see \u201cmany\u201d believing something. A majority does not prove truth. A crowd does not prove salvation. Jesus Himself said the road that leads to life is found by few.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1) Why there are more pre\u2011trib believers than post\u2011trib believers<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One reason there appear to be more pre\u2011tribulation believers than those who expect to endure is this: most people are not truly saved, and many do not make time to study the Bible for themselves. They repeat what they have heard instead of searching the Scriptures with fear of the Lord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jesus warned that many are on the broad road. Many will be deceived. Many will be lost. (Matthew 7:13)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And Jesus also warned about false prophets: \u201cBeware of false prophets\u2026 you will know them by their fruits.\u201d (Matthew 7:15\u201320)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, it should not surprise us that there are many voices teaching confidently about timing, while neglecting the weightier matter\u2014the gospel of Jesus Christ: His death, His blood, repentance, holiness, and obedience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Holy Spirit comes when we preach Christ crucified and call people to repentance\u2014not when we argue endlessly about timelines. And the Holy Spirit corrects believers who become consumed with timing while ignoring the cross.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2) Why there is no single, universally accepted teaching on the timing<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another reason there are multiple rapture teachings (pre, mid, post) is because God has not given human beings the power to know the timing of Christ\u2019s return.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jesus said plainly:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority. But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me\u2026\u201d (Acts 1:7\u20138)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The witness of the Church is not \u201cthe day and hour.\u201d Jesus said no one knows that. (Matthew 24:36)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The witness of the Church is Jesus\u2014His death and resurrection\u2014and the call to follow Him on the narrow way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3) Revelation 3:10 in the light of Matthew 7:13\u201323<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When I read Revelation 3:10, the Holy Spirit does not tell me that the \u201chour of trial\u201d is the Great Tribulation, but that it points to the Day of the Lord\u2014the return of Jesus\u2014and that God will keep His people from His wrath at Christ\u2019s return through the rapture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But hear this warning from Matthew 7:21\u201323:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNot everyone who says to Me, \u2018Lord, Lord,\u2019 shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven\u2026 And then I will declare to them, \u2018I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, the greatest danger is not merely being wrong about a timeline. The greatest danger is being on the broad road while thinking we are safe\u2014calling Him \u201cLord\u201d while refusing obedience, repentance, and holiness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Conclusion<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beloved, do not follow the crowd. Do not trust a teaching because it is popular. Test everything by Scripture. Beware of false prophets. Look for fruit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And above all: cling to the gospel\u2014Jesus Christ crucified\u2014and walk the narrow way, because many will say \u201cLord, Lord,\u201d and only those who do the will of the Father will enter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/strong>A Popular Claim Tested by Scripture: Daniel 9, and Revelation 3:10 vs the Pre\u2011Trib Rapture<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A man on TV said there will be a pre\u2011tribulation rapture because Daniel 9 speaks of a seven\u2011year period that pertains to the Jews. From that, he concluded the Church must be raptured before the Great Tribulation. He also pointed to Revelation, saying God will keep His Church from the \u201chour of trial.\u201d But from my studies with the Lord, that \u201chour of trial\u201d is not the Great Tribulation\u2014it points to the return of Christ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here\u2019s the concise core correction up front:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/strong>Neither Daniel 9 nor Revelation teaches a 7\u2011year \u201ctribulation for the Jews,\u201d nor a pre\u2011tribulation rapture. <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The \u201chour of trial\u201d in Revelation 3:10 is not the Great Tribulation\u2014it is the Day of the Lord, the moment of Christ\u2019s visible return and judgment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now let\u2019s walk through each claim and correct it biblically, step by step, with Scripture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1\ufe0f\u20e3 Correction #1<\/a> \u2014 <\/strong>Daniel 9 does NOT <\/strong>teach a 7\u2011year \u201ctribulation for the Jews\u201d<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Pre\u2011trib teachers often say: \u201cDaniel 9 teaches a future 7\u2011year tribulation for Israel, so the Church must be removed first.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But Daniel 9:27 does not<\/strong> say:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
