<\/strong>There’s No Hope For You If You Miss the Rapture<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

<\/strong>Prologue<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This message is written as a sober warning and a final call to readiness. Many speak about the rapture as an escape to heaven that happens before the Great Tribulation begins, but Scripture repeatedly ties the gathering of God\u2019s people in the rapture to the visible return of Jesus Christ. Because of that, what follows is not speculation, but an urgent appeal to take the Word of God seriously, to repent, and to be prepared to meet the Lord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Foreword<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This message is an addendum to my earlier post, \u201cThere Is No Pre-Tribulation Rapture.\u201d<\/strong> The Lord wants people to understand that Jesus will come to gather His people after the Great Tribulation has begun<\/strong>. And once the rapture takes place, those who remain will not have another three and a half years to \u201cget right\u201d with Him. The rapture is not the beginning of a long delay\u2014it is tied to the return of Jesus, and what immediately follows is the Day of the Lord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jesus gathers His people when He returns (the same day)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Jesus teaches that His coming and the gathering (rapture) happen after<\/strong> the tribulation begins:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

\u201cImmediately after the tribulation<\/strong> of those days\u2026 they shall see the Son of man coming\u2026 And he shall send his angels\u2026 and they shall gather together his elect<\/strong>\u2026\u201d (Matthew 24:29\u201331, KJV)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Paul describes the same event:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

\u201cFor the Lord himself shall descend from heaven\u2026 and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive\u2026 shall be caught up<\/strong>\u2026 to meet the Lord in the air.\u201d (1 Thessalonians 4:16\u201317, KJV)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

And he places that gathering on the day Jesus is revealed<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAnd to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance<\/strong>\u2026\u201d (2 Thessalonians 1:7\u20138, KJV)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

What pre-tribulationists believe about the rapture<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Pre-tribulationists teach that Jesus takes the Church before<\/strong> the tribulation begins, and that afterward the world enters a tribulation period in which people can still turn to God before Jesus later returns in judgment. Many also believe God will raise up witnesses during that time (often pointing to the \u201ctwo witnesses\u201d):<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAnd I will give power unto my two witnesses<\/strong>, and they shall prophesy\u2026\u201d (Revelation 11:3, KJV)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The Day of the Lord: wrath when Jesus returns<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Scripture repeatedly connects the \u201cday of the Lord\u201d with sudden destruction and fiery judgment:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFor yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night\u2026 sudden destruction<\/strong> cometh upon them\u2026\u201d (1 Thessalonians 5:2\u20133, KJV)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

\n

\u201cThe day of the Lord will come\u2026 in the which the heavens shall pass away\u2026 and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also\u2026 shall be burned up<\/strong>.\u201d (2 Peter 3:10, KJV)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Jesus also describes His return as a day of judgment like Noah and Lot:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

\u201cAs it was in the days of Noe\u2026 the flood came, and destroyed them all\u2026 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot\u2026 it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed<\/strong>.\u201d (Luke 17:26\u201330, KJV)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

And Genesis records that pattern:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThen the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire<\/strong>\u2026\u201d (Genesis 19:24, KJV)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Matthew 24:29\u201331 explained (rapture after tribulation begins)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Matthew 24:29\u201331 gives the order plainly:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. After the tribulation<\/strong> (v.29)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Jesus appears in glory<\/strong> (v.30)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Angels gather the elect<\/strong> (v.31)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    So, the gathering of the elect is tied directly to the visible return of Christ, not to a separate earlier coming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    What happens after the rapture (as Scripture describes)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    After the gathering, Scripture describes judgment on the ungodly<\/strong> at Christ\u2019s revelation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n

    \u201cThe Lord Jesus shall be revealed\u2026 In flaming fire taking vengeance<\/strong> on them that know not God\u2026\u201d (2 Thessalonians 1:7\u20138, KJV)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

    \n

    \u201cAnd then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming<\/strong>.\u201d (2 Thessalonians 2:8, KJV)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

    <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Conclusion<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    According to what has been shown, the rapture does not remove people from the earth so they can later \u201cget right with God\u201d during a remaining window of time. The gathering of the elect happens when Jesus is revealed, and that same day becomes the Day of the Lord\u2014the day of wrath and final judgment. There is no extended period afterward for those left behind to regroup, reorganize, and prepare for a later return, because the return and the gathering are joined together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Therefore, what follows the rapture for those who remain is not a new season of opportunity, but sudden destruction. Just as it was in the days of Noah and in the days of Lot, judgment comes immediately upon the ungodly. Fire falls, the earth is consumed, and the Lord executes vengeance at His appearing. The world that rejected the truth is brought to its end, and the Lord begins the regeneration\u2014bringing in His righteous rule and the renewal He has appointed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Epilogue<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    I have written these things as a warning and as a call to repentance. The purpose is not to stir fear, but to point hearts back to Jesus Christ while there is still time. Scripture says, \u201cPrepare to meet thy God<\/strong>\u201d (Amos 4:12, KJV), and again, \u201cNow is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation<\/strong>\u201d (2 Corinthians 6:2, KJV).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    If you have read this and you know you are not ready, do not delay. \u201cSeek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near<\/strong>\u201d (Isaiah 55:6, KJV). Jesus is faithful to forgive and to cleanse those who truly turn to Him: \u201cIf we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness\u201d (1 John 1:9, KJV).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    For those who belong to Christ, this is also a call to watchfulness and endurance. Jesus said, \u201cWatch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come<\/strong>\u201d (Matthew 24:42, KJV), and \u201che that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved<\/strong>\u201d (Matthew 24:13, KJV). Let every believer stay sober, stay prayerful, and stay close to the Holy Spirit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    I leave you with the final invitation of Scripture: \u201cAnd the Spirit and the bride say, Come\u2026 and whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely<\/strong>\u201d (Revelation 22:17, KJV). May the Lord use this message to awaken the sleeping, strengthen the faithful, and draw many to repentance before the Day of the Lord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In closing,<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    As in the Days of Noah and Lot: Sudden Judgment When Jesus Is Revealed<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    I want to highlight what I believe God is showing me about the day Jesus returns: that He will bring fiery judgment on the wicked, as in the days of Sodom. Scripture says, \u201cThen the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven\u201d (Genesis 19:24, KJV). Jesus also said, \u201cIt rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed\u201d (Luke 17:29\u201330, KJV). Therefore, when Jesus returns, His appearing will be accompanied by fire and brimstone from heaven against the wicked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    It\u2019s clear in Luke 17:26\u201330 that Jesus compares His return to two moments of sudden judgment. In Noah\u2019s day, the wicked continued in ordinary life, unprepared because of unbelief, until God\u2019s judgment came and \u201cdestroyed them all.\u201d In Lot\u2019s day, the same pattern repeated: the wicked were unprepared, and destruction fell suddenly\u2014this time by fire from heaven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In the same way, when Jesus returns, it will be \u201cbusiness as usual\u201d for the wicked right up until the moment He is revealed and judgment comes. The Scriptures show a pattern: the world was judged first by water in the flood, and it will be judged by fire in the day of the Lord\u2014water first, fire last.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Luke 17:26-30 Modern English Version<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    26 <\/sup><\/strong>\u201cJust as it was in the days of Noah, so will it be in the days of the Son of Man.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    27 <\/sup><\/strong>They were eating, drinking, marrying, and were given in marriage until the day when Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    28 <\/sup><\/strong>\u201cLikewise as it was in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    29 <\/sup><\/strong>But on the day that Lot departed from Sodom, fire and brimstone rained from heaven and destroyed them all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    30 <\/sup><\/strong>\u201cSo will it be on the day when the Son of Man is revealed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Luke 17 and 2 Peter 3: Fire (Not Flood) in the Day Jesus Is Revealed<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Luke 17:28\u201330 is not<\/strong> describing literal lava or molten rock falling from the sky. Jesus is using Sodom<\/strong> as a pattern to teach that His return brings sudden, fiery judgment<\/strong>, just as Noah\u2019s day brought sudden, watery judgment<\/strong>. The emphasis is the suddenness<\/strong>, the unpreparedness<\/strong>, and the nature of the judgment<\/strong>\u2014water in Noah\u2019s day, fire in the final Day of the Lord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Let\u2019s walk through it clearly and slowly, because this passage is tightly connected to 2 Peter 3:7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \u2b50 What Luke 17:26\u201330 is actually doing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Jesus gives two historical examples<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
