It\u2019s written to bring that question into the light\u2014and to point to what Scripture declares: that peace with God is not achieved by our striving, but by what Jesus Christ has already done through His sacrifice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Is Jesus Necessary? The Only Sacrifice That Truly Makes Us Right with God<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today Jesus said the following to me, and asked me to write it. Which means to make a message out of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jesus prophesied saying,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp; &#8220;It will take a million years to make it back to God without Me. You do it with animal sacrifice. Every time you sacrifice an animal to Him, He is pleased.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Holy Spirit now confirms this message to me by bringing to my memory (see John 14:26) a passage in Hebrews.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Hebrews 10:5-10 Modern English Version<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><sup>5&nbsp;<\/sup><\/strong>Therefore, when He came into the world, He said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cSacrifices and offerings You did not desire,&nbsp;but a body You have prepared for Me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><sup>6&nbsp;<\/sup><\/strong>In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin&nbsp;You have had no pleasure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><sup>7&nbsp;<\/sup><\/strong>Then I said, \u2018See, I have come to do Your will, O God,\u2019 as it is written of Me&nbsp;in the volume of the book.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><sup>8&nbsp;<\/sup><\/strong>Previously when He said, \u201cYou did not desire sacrifices and offerings. You have had no pleasure in burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin,\u201d which are offered in accordance with the law,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><sup>9&nbsp;<\/sup><\/strong>then He said, \u201cSee, I have come to do Your will, O God.\u201d He takes away the first that He may establish the second.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><sup>10&nbsp;<\/sup><\/strong>By this will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Hebrews 10:5\u201310: The Father\u2019s Desire Fulfilled\u2014Jesus\u2019 Holy Blood, Once for All<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hebrews 10:5\u201310 makes it clear that God the Father was never ultimately pleased with the blood of bulls and goats as the final answer for sin. Those sacrifices were permitted for a time, but they could not truly remove sin or fully satisfy God\u2019s holiness. What the Father desired was <strong>holy blood<\/strong>\u2014a sinless offering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That is why Jesus\u2019 words bring everything into focus. When Jesus said that it would take \u201ca million years\u201d of animal sacrifices for God to be pleased, He was not teaching that animal blood can finally justify us. He was showing the hopeless length and impossibility of trying to reach God without His own atoning sacrifice. In other words: <strong>if Jesus did not justify us by His blood, it would take an unimaginable amount of time and repeated sacrifice for man to ever be accepted.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So, the Holy Spirit\u2019s words in Hebrews 10 (especially verses 6 and 8, where it says God is not pleased with animal sacrifices) do not contradict Jesus. They confirm the point: animal sacrifices were never God\u2019s finished solution. Only Jesus could fully please the Father, because He offered His own sinless life. His blood is the holy sacrifice God accepted <strong>once for all<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So, in closing\u2014Father, Son, and Holy Spirit testify to one truth: God is not calling us to endless striving or repeated sacrifices to be justified. He is calling us to the finished sacrifice of Jesus Christ. And even now, I hear the holy angels singing hymns about the blood of Jesus\u2014confirming what heaven knows to be true: <strong>the blood of Jesus is precious, final, and sufficient.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Postscript \/ Conclusion<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Jesus said, \u201cIt will take a million years to make it back to God without me. You can do it with animal sacrifice. Every time you sacrifice an animal to Him, He is pleased.\u201d<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hebrews 10:5\u201310 is the Holy Spirit\u2019s clear confirmation that the Father was never ultimately satisfied by the blood of bulls and goats. Those sacrifices could point to sin, cover for a time, and teach the seriousness of judgment\u2014but they could not perfect the conscience, remove sin at its root, or bring a person into true reconciliation with God. That is why Scripture says God did not desire or take pleasure in those offerings as the final answer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So, how do we understand what I heard: that \u201cevery time\u201d an animal is sacrificed God is pleased, and that \u201cafter a million years\u201d He would eventually be pleased? The Holy Spirit is showing the difference between what is temporary and what is eternal. God can acknowledge obedience to what He commanded for a season, but He was not pleased with it as the finished solution for sin. The Father wanted holy blood\u2014sinless blood\u2014because only holy blood can satisfy holy justice. Jesus pleased the Father fully, once and for all, by offering His own spotless life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Therefore the conclusion is this: without Jesus, man\u2019s efforts\u2014even religious sacrifice\u2014can never reach God in the way salvation requires. At best, it would be an impossibly long, crushing attempt that still falls short of what Hebrews reveals. But with Jesus, the way is immediate and complete: not through endless offerings, but through one perfect offering. The Father is pleased\u2014not by animal blood as the final payment\u2014but by the Son\u2019s obedience and the sinless blood of Christ, which sanctifies all who come to God through Him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Why Jesus Spoke This Prophecy: Exposing the Belief That We Can Be Justified Without Him<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What could someone think or talk about that Jesus heard and spoke this message by prophecy to them in response?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jesus would be addressing a heart-question like this: \u201cIs Jesus really necessary, or can I be made right with God another way?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What that kind of thinking can look like (and why a warning like this would come):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\"><strong>\u201cI can earn my way back to God over time.\u201d<\/strong><br>The \u201cmillion years\u201d language confronts the idea that enough time + enough effort + enough religious acts will eventually make God accept me.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\"><strong>\u201cAny sacrifice is good enough if I\u2019m sincere.\u201d<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Hebrews 10:5\u201310 says God was not ultimately pleased with animal blood as the solution for sin\u2014so the issue is trusting a substitute God never intended to be the final payment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\"><strong>\u201cJesus\u2019 blood is optional\u2014one option among many.\u201d<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">The prophecy, as you\u2019re describing it, presses the exclusivity of Christ\u2019s offering: without Him, there is no finished atonement\u2014only endless repetition.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\"><strong>\u201cIf I just keep repenting and doing religious works, I\u2019ll be justified.\u201d<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">That\u2019s a subtle shift from <em>faith in the once-for-all sacrifice<\/em>\u00a0to <em>confidence in repeated acts<\/em>\u00a0(even \u201cbiblical\u201d ones), which Hebrews directly contrasts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\"><strong>\u201cGod is pleased with sacrifice itself.\u201d<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Hebrews shows God\u2019s pleasure is in <strong>the Son\u2019s obedience<\/strong>\u00a0and <strong>the once-for-all offering<\/strong>\u2014not in blood as a ritual. Sacrifice without the right foundation becomes a false refuge.\\<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So, the \u201cissue\u201d being addressed is likely <strong>a temptation to move away from the sufficiency of Jesus\u2019 blood<\/strong>\u2014either by imagining a longer, alternate path to justification, or by treating Christ\u2019s sacrifice as not fully enough, not fully final, or not strictly necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The Million-Year Warning and the Once-for-All Blood: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit Testify of Christ Alone<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Seriousness of Jesus\u2019 Sacrifice (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jesus\u2019 words\u2014\u201cIt will take a million years to make it back to God without me\u201d\u2014are not given to flatter human effort, but to expose it. They confront the deepest deception of the fallen heart: that time, suffering, religion, or repeated sacrifice can eventually produce righteousness. The \u201cmillion years\u201d is a prophetic way of saying: <em>without the Son, the distance is beyond you.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then the Holy Spirit confirms the meaning through Hebrews 10:5\u201310. The Spirit helps us divide what is <strong>acknowledged<\/strong>&nbsp;from what is <strong>accepted as final<\/strong>. God did command sacrifices for a season, and He can recognize obedience to what He required in that time. But Hebrews reveals the Father was not pleased with animal blood as the ultimate payment for sin. He wanted what animals could never provide: <strong>holy blood<\/strong>\u2014a spotless life\u2014an offering with moral perfection, not merely ritual repetition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That is why Jesus says He pleased God with His sinless blood. The Father\u2019s pleasure rests fully on the Son because the Son did what no man could do: He obeyed perfectly, and He offered Himself willingly. Hebrews says, \u201cBehold, I have come to do Your will.\u201d This is the center of it all: not endless offerings, but <strong>one obedient Son<\/strong>, giving <strong>one sufficient sacrifice<\/strong>, <strong>once for all<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And this is why the message is serious: if someone treats Jesus\u2019 blood as optional, or thinks they can be justified by another path\u2014by works, by time, by repeated religious effort\u2014they are stepping back into the shadow and leaving the substance. They are trading the finished offering for an endless attempt. The prophecy confronts that drift and calls the soul back to the only foundation that truly reconciles: <strong>Christ crucified, Christ\u2019s blood, Christ\u2019s obedience, Christ alone.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So, in closing\u2014Father, Son, and Holy Spirit speak one testimony:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">The <strong>Father<\/strong> is not satisfied by animal blood as the final answer for sin.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">The <strong>Son<\/strong> is the holy offering who fully pleases the Father and brings us near.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">The <strong>Holy Spirit<\/strong> confirms it in Hebrews and bears witness to the glory of the blood of Jesus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And yes\u2014if you are hearing the angels sing hymns about the blood of Jesus, that fits the message: heaven does not celebrate human striving; heaven celebrates the Lamb. Their praise is a witness that the matter is settled in the courts of God: <strong>the blood of Jesus is precious, final, and sufficient\u2014and it is the only way home.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Epilogue<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If this message leaves you feeling the weight of it, that is not condemnation\u2014it is clarity. God is not asking you to climb a mountain of time, effort, or religious striving to reach Him. He is showing you that without Jesus, the distance is beyond what any person can cross, and no repeated offering can finally settle the debt of sin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hebrews testifies that the Father was not ultimately satisfied with the blood of animals, because what He desired was holiness\u2014truth in the inward parts\u2014and a perfect offering that matched His perfect justice. That is why the Son came and said, \u201cBehold, I have come to do Your will.\u201d And that is why the Holy Spirit bears witness to the finality of Christ\u2019s sacrifice: <strong>one offering, once for all<\/strong>, able to cleanse, sanctify, and bring the sinner near.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So, let the conclusion be simple and personal: stop looking for another way. Stop postponing surrender. Stop mixing the finished work of Jesus with the idea that you must still pay your own way back. The Father has already shown what pleases Him. The Son has already provided it. The Holy Spirit is already confirming it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And if heaven is singing about the blood of Jesus, it is because heaven knows what earth forgets: this is not a small doctrine\u2014it is the doorway of salvation. The Lamb has been offered. The price has been paid. The way is open.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now the only question left is not whether the sacrifice is enough, but whether you will receive it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>A Personal Response: From Striving to Resting in Jesus\u2019 Finished Work<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">How can I personally respond to this message in my life?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can respond to this message personally in a way that\u2019s simple, real, and measurable\u2014by moving from <em>thinking about Jesus<\/em>&nbsp;to <em>resting in what He finished<\/em>&nbsp;and <em>obeying what He\u2019s asking you now<\/em>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\"><strong>Settle the foundation (faith, not striving): <\/strong>Pray plainly: \u201cFather, I stop trusting my effort, time, or religious works to make me right. I trust only the blood of Jesus and His finished sacrifice.\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\"><strong>Repent specifically (not generally):<\/strong>Ask the Holy Spirit to name what you\u2019ve been leaning on besides Christ (performance, fear, rituals, \u201cI\u2019ll do better,\u201d self-punishment). Confess it specifically and turn from it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\"><strong>Receive what Hebrews 10 says is true: <\/strong>Say out loud: \u201cJesus\u2019 offering was once for all. I receive cleansing, forgiveness, and acceptance because of Him.\u201d (This is where peace replaces torment.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\"><strong>Live from gratitude into obedience: <\/strong>Choose one concrete act of obedience that flows from love\u2014not to earn salvation, but because you\u2019re saved (forgive someone, make something right, remove a compromise, reconcile, serve, give, tell the truth).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\"><strong>Keep your conscience clean quickly: <\/strong>When you sin, don\u2019t spiral into self-payment. Confess fast, thank Jesus for His blood, and get back up. Refuse the mindset of \u201cI must suffer to be forgiven.\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\"><strong>Stay anchored in Scripture and community: <\/strong>Keep Hebrews 10:5\u201310 (and the surrounding chapter) in your weekly reading, and share the message with a trusted believer\/pastor who will keep you grounded and accountable.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Blood of Jesus is Sufficient<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Jesus Is Here for You: The Million-Year Warning and the Invitation to Come to God Today<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Lord Jesus is standing as a bright light in the other realm as I write this message. He says He wants you to hear this: <strong>\u201cI am here for you.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And in the end, this is why He spoke the warning to me for you. He said it would take \u201ca million years\u201d of animal sacrifices to make it back to God without Him\u2014not to point you to endless striving, but to show you the truth:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
