Born again by the Holy Spirit<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n 1 <\/strong>There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. <\/p>\n\n\n\n 2 <\/sup>He came to Jesus by night and said to Him, \u201cRabbi, we know that You are a teacher who has come from God. For no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n 3 <\/sup>Jesus answered him, \u201cTruly<\/mark>, truly I say to you<\/mark>, unless a man is born again<\/mark>, he cannot see the kingdom of God<\/mark>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n 4 <\/sup>Nicodemus said to Him, \u201cHow can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother\u2019s womb and be born?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n 5 <\/sup>Jesus answered, \u201cTruly<\/mark>, truly I say to you<\/mark>, unless a man is born of water and the Spirit<\/mark>, he cannot enter the kingdom of God<\/mark>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n 6 <\/sup>That which is born of the flesh is flesh<\/mark>, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit<\/mark>. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n 7 <\/sup><\/strong>Do not marvel that I said to you<\/mark>, \u2018You must be born again<\/mark>.\u2019 <\/p>\n\n\n\n 8 <\/sup>The wind blows where it wishes<\/mark>, and you hear its sound<\/mark>, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes<\/mark>. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit<\/mark>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Born again through faith in Jesus<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n 9 <\/sup>Nicodemus said to Him, \u201cHow can this be?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n 10 <\/sup>Jesus answered him, \u201cAre you the teacher of Israel<\/mark>, but you do not know these things<\/mark>? <\/p>\n\n\n\n 11 <\/sup>Truly<\/mark>, truly I say to you<\/mark>, We speak of what We know and bear witness of what We have seen<\/mark>, but you do not receive Our testimony<\/mark>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n 12<\/sup> <\/sup>If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe<\/mark>, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things<\/mark>? <\/p>\n\n\n\n 13 <\/sup>No one has ascended to heaven except He who descended from heaven<\/mark>, even the Son of Man who is in heaven<\/mark>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n 14 <\/sup>Just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness<\/mark>, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up<\/mark>, <\/p>\n\n\n\n 15 <\/sup>that whoever believes in Him should not perish<\/mark>, but may have eternal life<\/mark>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 16 <\/sup>\u201cFor God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son<\/mark>, that whoever believes in Him should not perish<\/mark>, but have eternal life<\/mark>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n 17 <\/sup>For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world<\/mark>, but that the world through Him might be saved<\/mark>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n 18 <\/sup>He who believes in Him is not condemned<\/mark>.
